It’s reached a point in the pandemic where I find I’m running out of things to do. ðð I say this only because I’ve been on annual leave for the last couple of weeks and it turns out there really isn’t much to do around here when it’s cold and everything is shut!
I fully support lockdown and have been at home all this time, apart from my daily walk/run and inevitable essentials shop, and have tried to keep myself busy before going back to work â I know that this time next week I’ll be eating my words and wishing back the boredom! But the isolation is a lot and the days seem both too long and too short at the same time.
I’ve binged Bridgerton (for the plot, guys), got halfway through a paint by numbers my boyfriend sent me (painting is hard!), educated myself on how to grow my glutes (manifest!), baked cinnamon rolls and done way too much online shopping (quitting literally any day now).
Basically, if anyone has any ideas for new activities I could try, please let me know. There’s only so much TV you can binge and H&M’s website will eventually run out of clothes if I don’t stop, so any fresh suggestions would be most welcome. ð
In the meantime, it was a lovely day today so I went for a walk down the canal with my Mum and on the way home we decided to grab a Caribbean takeaway from Brown Sugar (if you know, you know). Their oxtail and festivals are *chef’s kiss*.
